James Henry GREEN


James was born in Deptford, Kent in 1889, the son of James Henry Green and Sarah Jane (nee Taylor). His father was from Oldbury, Worcestershire, his mother from Deptford. James seems to have left England some time before 1911, however it was not in the military as upon joining he stated no previous military service.
