Died on 28 Apr 1955. Joining the 3/25th, he was transferred to 1/25th at Chiseldon in Dec 1915 and posted to "C" Co. He served in Waziristan and Afghanistan and was demobbed in 1919. He had been in and out of hospital several times. He died in the train on his way home from work. he was looking forward to attending the dinner on the following evening. He was cremated at Islington Crematorium, East Finchley. The service was attended by his 25th friend, A. W. Booth, and the Secretary. He leaves a widow and a married son and daughter.
